Frampton attended and graduated from Robert Morris University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts. While in college he interned as a Government Service Intern at Pennsylvania Department of Transportation from May 2007 to July 2010. He also worked as a Multimedia Journalist at Robert Morris University.
He currently works as an Executive Reporter at WTXL ABC 27 in the Tallahassee Metropolitan Area. Frampton has been part of the station since January 2020 and initially worked as a Managing Editor. He was promoted to his current role in June 2023. Over the years working at ABC 27 he has led, developed, and enhanced the storytelling skills and abilities of the MMJs in the station.
Before joining his current station he worked as a News Anchor and Reporter at Fort Myers Broadcasting Compay. He joined the station in December 2016 and after 3 years and 1 month, he left the station in December 2019.
During his tenure there, Frampton went live from the eye of Hurricane Irma as the storm made landfall, earning him an Emmy nomination. Frampton also covered the destructive wildfires and floods of 2017 along with the ongoing problem with the high price of prescription medicine.
Frampton has also worked as an Executive Producer at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, VA. He served the station for 3 years from December 2013 to November 2016. Additionally, he served as a Producer Anchor Reporter, and Forecaster at TV3 Winchester.
While there, Frampton was also involved with the community serving Meals on Wheels and raising more than $10,000 for a nonprofit through Dancing with the Stars of the Burg.
