Holly Menino is an American journalist serving at KOMO TV as a Morning News Anchor. She joined the Station in Jun 2019, after working as a Morning Anchor and Reporter for KUTV/KMYU.
Holly Menino Career | Education
After graduating from Waitsburg High School, Menino transitioned to Washington State University’s Edward R. Murrow School of Communication. While here, she pursued her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication. She also focused on broadcast news and human development, completing her studies from 2000 to 2005.
Following her graduation, Holly faced a period of uncertainty before securing employment. Eventually, she embarked on her career at KEZI 9 TV, where she served as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter from May 2006 to July 2008, before transitioning to the role of Morning Anchor and Reporter, which she held from July 2008 to October 2012.
Subsequently, Menino moved to KUTV/KMYU, where she continued her career as a morning anchor and reporter from October 2012 to June 2019. During her tenure in Salt Lake City, she took on key roles in several initiatives. This included establishing the station’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) franchise. Additionally, she introduced the station’s first “Live Desk” position and launched a podcast tailored for children titled “Baby Your Baby.” Throughout her career, she has seized opportunities to report on noteworthy news events, both domestically and internationally. Moreover, these included covering a substantial landslide in North Salt Lake, Utah, reporting on a tragic high school shooting in Roseburg, Oregon, and undertaking an assignment in China.
