Brown Falon Alexis is an American journalist serving at WBRZ-TV as a multimedia journalist and traffic anchor, she joined the Station in August 2020 after working as a Tiger TV social media director for Louisiana State University(LSU) Tiger TV.

Falon Brown Career | Education

In 2016, Falon enrolled at Louisiana State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism by 2020. Simultaneously, she worked as an entertainment reporter for approximately 10 months at LSU Tiger TV. She actively participated in weekly meetings, sourced story ideas, conducted interviews, and handled filming, editing, and publishing duties for LSU Tiger TV’s platforms. Additionally, she contributed to organizing the 2nd annual Bloom Fest in 2018 as part of the crew.

Brown swiftly assumed the role of entertainment director, where she supervised reporters, ensuring consistent content creation. Managing hiring, training, and payroll, she facilitated weekly idea-sharing sessions. Her notable accomplishment was interviewing American rapper Kevin Gates. In May 2019, Falon commenced her internship at WWL-TV, where she fulfilled various responsibilities, including shadowing reporters and participating in daily story pitch meetings.

Falon promptly resumed her role at LSU Tiger TV, this time as a social media director. She managed Tiger TV’s presence on Twitter and Instagram, ensuring reporters shared stories in the appropriate format. In January 2020, she was appointed as a panel member of Louisiana Public Broadcasting and Louisiana Educational TV Authority. Subsequently, Brown embarked on her professional journey as a multimedia journalist and traffic anchor at WBRZ-TV, where she commenced employment in August 2020 and continues to serve to this day.

Apart from working, Brown enjoys working out, cooking, shopping, and hanging out with her dog Sonny. Previously, she sang in a garage band and appeared in numerous fashion shows, as well as a fashion spread for 225 Magazine.
