After completing high school, Cruz seamlessly transitioned into pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Italian at DePaul University from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, she furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Journalism from the same University in 2015. Subsequently, she became a Bilingual Reporter, MMJ, and Anchor at WDJT CBS 58 from July 2018 to December 2020.
