Denelle Veselik Biography
Denelle Veselik is an American Multimedia Reporter serving at KGUN Tucson 9 as a full-time Weekday 4 pm Anchor, Investigator, and MMJ. She joined the Station in March 2022 after working as a weekend anchor and MMJ for KVOA.

Veselik attended Raymond S. Kellis High School in 2004 and graduated in 2007. She joined Estrella Mountain Community College in 2008 and graduated with an Associate’s degree in General Studies in 2011.
In 2012 she enrolled at Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communication and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies in 2014. There, she Specialized in Business, Public Speaking, Sign Language, Mass Communications Law, Communications and Psychology.
Denelle Veselik Career
She began her broadcasting career at Daily News-Sun in Sun City, AZ where she worked as a Reporter, Multimedia Journalist, and Social Media Administrator from January 2014 to December 2014. Here, she Created news packages for the website, Covered a variety of news for the West Valley, and Wrote for both the website and the newspaper.
Veselik left and joined NBC Montana in December 2014 as a Multimedia Reporter until August 2015. At Montana, she Filmed, edited, and tracked all packages, Started as a bureau reporter and within four months, was promoted to morning reporter working out of the main office, and Organized all daily stories.
She then moved to Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work for KVEO as a Multimedia Reporter, anchoring morning news and turning in multiple packages daily, all before the deadline for four months. After working for KVEO, she worked for the News-Press & Gazette Company in Yuma, Arizona Area as an Anchor, Producer, and Multimedia Journalist for two and a half years.
Here, she Anchored and produced for all three stations owned and operated out of Yuma, Arizona, and Enterprise and packaged daily stories before the deadline in time to produce and anchor evening newscasts. Veselik joined KVOA-TV in March 2018 as a Weekend Anchor and Multimedia Journalist until March 2022. Here, she went live daily turned multiple stories, and Edited and shot all of my own stories.
Lately, she has worked as a full-time Weekday 4 pm Anchor, Investigator, and Multimedia Journalist at KGUN 9 On Your Side in Tucson, Arizona, United States. Here, she Launched the first 360 newscasts going in-depth on Roe V. Wade being overturned, Helped launch a new show, and created branding.
Behind her impactful journalism revealing and spotlighting important issues has been his guide. She has not only reported to the public but also produced important changes. Veselik agrees that journalists with integrity and dedication to ethics are more essential than ever. In her spare time, she enjoys cherishing moments with her family, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
