Sydnee Scofield Biography
Sydnee Scofield is an American Award-winning News Personality working at ABC 11 News serving as an anchor and reporter since she joined the network in December 2023. Formerly, Scofield worked at CrimeDoor as a Television Host.
Sydnee Scofield Career/Education
Scofield studied at Arizona State University from 2012 to 2016, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She is currently performing her duties as an anchor and reporter at ABC 11 Eyewitness News since she became part of the station in December of 2023.
Formerly, Sydnee hosted a daily crime show on Roku, Tubi, and a few other streaming sites that was broadcast nationwide. She conducted deep conversations with forensic scientists, investigators, judges, investigators, attorneys, and psychologists, among other professionals in the criminal justice field worldwide, on a regular basis. Hearing the testimonies of the relatives of cold case victims was the most fulfilling aspect of her work.
Sydney has worked for KHQ in Spokane, Washington; KOLO in Reno, Nevada; and KRDO in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as an anchor and reporter. She was awarded an Emmy for a story on a Colorado woman affected by the crisis in Ukraine while she resided there. During her time in Spokane, she was also the recipient of a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding Writing.
Scofield is appreciative of the chance to carry on her work of bringing attention to unresolved cases in North Carolina, she has tried to do so across the nation.
