Congedo attended and graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism in May 2018. After graduating she started her career in Bridgeport, West Virginia at WDTV.
She was a multimedia journalist at WDTV for a year until she was promoted to weekend anchor and producer. During her tenure there, she covered stories like the death of the infamous Whitey Bulger.
Congedo currently serves as a Weekday Anchor and Reporter at WKYT in Lexington, Kentucky. She joined the station in March 2023. Before joining her current station she served as a News Anchor and Reporter at WTOC in Savannah, Georgia.
Congedo spent 3.5 years at WTOC and during her time there, she got to cover national stories including the Murdaugh murders and the search and recovery of Quinton Simon. Further, she also covered the city’s biggest event, which is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Congedo was even honored to be nominated and chosen to fly with the United States Navy Blue Angels.
