Tessa Bentulan Biography
Tessa Bentulan is an American Anchor and Reporter working as a Multimedia Journalist and Investigative reporter at WNYT in Albany, New York. She joined the station in November 2021 after working as a Multimedia Journalist at WICS ABC News Channel 20/WRSP FOX Illinois. Tessa is excited to join the WNYT News team and happy to serve the Albany people.

Bentulan attended and graduated from Miami Dade College in 2017 with an Associate of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism. She then joined the University of Florida graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication in August 2019.
While in college she interned and worked at several stations across the state. She interned at WPBT2 in Miami from May 2018 to August 2018. She also worked as an On-Air Personality and Social Media Ambassador at Chompics: Unmuted Podcast in Gainsville, Florida. Further, she interned at WCJB TV20 in Gainsville, Florida.
She currently serves as an Investigative Reporter and Multimedia Journalist at WNYT in New York. Tessa has been part of the station since November 2021. Before joining her current station she worked as a Multimedia Journalist at WICS ABC News in Springfield, Illinois.
Tessa started in the TV news industry in 2019 as a general assignment reporter in Springfield, Illinois. She is excited to tell your stories and become a part of the community.
