Andy Liscano is an American reporter serving at KRIS as a news anchor Troubleshooter, and Kitchen Cops reporter. He joined the Station in April 2014 after working as a Troubleshooter/Investigative Reporter for the same station.

Liscano joined the College of Emporia in 1971 after completing his high school education. There, he participated in activities like Football, and cross country, and was the sports editor of the student newspaper. He decided to further his education at Nothern Illinois University in 1973 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

Liscano began his career at WITI-TV where he served as a sports anchor and reporter from March 1987 to November 1991. Liscano then joined KOVR TV in January 1992 as a sports anchor and reporter and then left in May 1995. After working for KOVR TV, he joined KEYE-TV in Austin, Texas as a sports anchor and director.
In May 2002, he worked as an insurance manager in Austin Texas for three years and one month. After working in Austin, he moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in May 2007 to work for KZTV/KRIS TV as a troubleshooter/investigative reporter.
In Christi, Texas, he gathered all pertinent information for in-depth stories using online data search resources, researching documents, conducting interviews, writing, producing, and reporting compelling in-depth stories for 5 daily LIVE TV newscasts, all while under deadline.
Currently, he anchors the 6 10 pm show on KRIS TV. Also, he works there as a Cops reporter and a troubleshooter. Furthermore, he reports on city hall, breaking news, the courts, police, and spot news. After joining the station he was first to address the forced resignation of the Director of the city’s Water Department.
Before joining the news team, he was an award-winning sportscaster in cities from Miami to Los Angeles. Liscano’s reports include the NCAA’s March Madness Basketball Tournament, PGA, LPGA, NHL, NBA, Summer Olympics, and the NCAA’s Div. 1 Football National Championship, MLB, NASCAR, Soccer’s World Cup, and the Super Bowl.
When he’s not at the desk, he loves to travel with his wife Yolanda, watch his beloved Miami Hurricanes play football, and spend time with family in Texas and Chicago. He is a loyal Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan!
