Kristina Audencial is an American anchor serving at FOX 5 as a Morning News Anchor. She joined the Station in October 2016 after working as a Reporter/Fill-in anchor for FOX 5.
Kristina Audencial Career | Education
Audencial attended UC San Diego in 2004 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2006. She began her career as a writer and fill-in producer at KGTV-ABC, 10News in April 2006. She then left and joined KUSI where she worked as a Producer from February 2008 to July 2008.
After working for KUSI, she joined FOX-5, San Diego KSWB-TV in July 2008 as a Producer and left in July 2009. Audencial then worked for KREX News Channel 5, KFQX-TV Fox 4Hoak Media as a General Assignment Reporter until December 2009.
At Ashford University, she worked as a Financial Services Manager for almost three years. In August 2012, she worked as a reporter at U-T TV in the Greater San Diego Area until December 2012. She was then elevated there to work as a morning news anchor in January 2013.
In March 2014, she joined KSWB Fox 5 in San Diego as a Reporter/Fill in anchor. Then in October 2016, she changed her role to working as a Morning News Anchor until now. Her kindergarten teacher once said she embellished stories in class. She advised her mother to teach Kristina not to “lie.” She tells true stories with a great amount of readiness and energy. According to her, sharing stories and informing the community is a privilege and honor.
