Andrew Luria is an American Sports Anchor serving at KUSI FOX 5 as a News Anchor, he joined the Station in November 2013. He anchors for the station every weekday at 1, 4, 5 and 7 p.m.

Luria attended Cornell University in 1998 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, in Communication, General in 2002. There, he played football, baseball, and semi-pro baseball for the Santa Barbara Foresters. He began his career at KIEM-TV in Eureka, California, United States in October 2002 as a Sports Anchor and Reporter and worked until March 2004.
He left and worked as a News/Sports/Technology Anchor at KCOY/KKFX in Santa Maria, California, United States for almost four years. After working for KCOY, he worked for KOVR-TV | CBS Sacramento as an anchor and reporter from January 2008 to November 2010·
Luria then joined WFTS-TV located in Tampa, Florida, United States as a Sports Anchor/Reporter where he worked from May 2010 to October 2013. He then became a part-time President of Halftime Sports Gear in August 2014. Luria became a Youth Broadcasting Teacher in 2018 at Magnolia Elementary School in Carlsbad, California, United States, and has worked there for five years and nine months.
In September 2006, he became a Part-time Children’s Book Author at Beachside Publishing Co. in Carlsbad, California, United States. Luria is now a News Anchor at FOX 5 San Diego in San Diego, California, United States. His career has been inspired by broadcasters like Glenn Brenner, Fred Roggin, and Steve Hartman, as well as George Michael, and writers like Rick Reilly.
Lately, he published his first book called “The Adventures of Charlie Marley.” The book is a historical fiction time-traveling sports story for kids. In his spare time, he enjoys playing baseball, basketball, football and coaching his kids in baseball. Moreover, he teaches an award-winning elementary school broadcasting class in Carlsbad.
