Kurt Ludlow Biography
Kurt Ludlow is an American investigative reporter serving at WSYX as a morning news anchor. He joined the Station in July 2015 after working for the station as a news anchor and investigative reporter.

Ludlow attended the University of Colorado Boulder in 1979 and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Journalism. In 1989, he joined Capital University Law School where graduated with a Juris Doctor in Law in 1993.
After graduating college, he joined KPTV in Portland, Oregon in 1999 where he worked as the 10 O’clock news anchor and investigative reporter for 4 years. Following his time in Portland, he moved to Columbus, Ohio where he joined WBNS as a weekend news anchor and reporter. In January 2009, he was promoted to serve the station as the 5:30 p.m. news anchor and Consumer 10 reporter. In 2004, he joined Vision & Vocational Services as a member of the board of directors. He served in the position till 2013.
Ludlow joined WSYX in Columbus, Ohio in July 2015 as the 5:30 p.m. news anchor and investigative reporter. In July 2017, he was promoted to his current role at the station serving as a morning news anchor on weekdays from 4:25 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. He is passionate about community journalism and commits himself to the community.
During his career, he has won multiple awards for his journalism work including Associated Press and Emmy awards. Also, he has been recognized by organizations like the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Associated Press. He won an Edward R. Murrow award from the Radio Television Digital News Association.
