Ted Hall is an American journalist serving at WVLT as a news anchor. Hall anchors the 5:00, 6:00, and 11:00 p.m. newscasts on WVLT. He also anchors the 10:00 p.m. newscast on CW and serves as the Managing Editor.
Ted Hall’s Career | Education
Hall attended Bethel University where he graduated and later joined KNAB-AM/FM in Burlington, Colorado in 1983. His first TV career was in Goodland, Kansas where he worked for KLOE-TV/AM. The station was known for being the smallest TV station in America that did its local newscasts.
He then joined WBIR TV in 1988 as a news anchor, reporter, and sports anchor. He then moved to Atlanta in 2005 to work as an evening news anchor at WXIA-TV. There, he worked for eight years. Other places he has worked include Wichita, Lawrence, and Topeka, Kansas TV stations.
His journalism career has earned him several Emmys, Edward R. Murrow, and other awards he has won during his more than thirty years of experience. When he is not working, he enjoys golfing, reading, going to church, traveling, playing tennis, and watching movies.
