Tillett Lena is an American award-winning journalist serving at WRAL-TV as a weekday evening anchor and host, she joined the Station in August 2016 after working as an anchor and reporter for WOWT.

Tillet attended Georgetown University, graduating with a degree in English and Government in 2009. Following two years, she opted to further her education at New York University, where she pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in News and Documentary.

Immediately after graduation, Lena embarked on her internship at News 12 Networks, where she worked for 4 months, assisting reporters in the field with all phases of story production. Subsequently, in February 2013, she transitioned to a freelance video journalist role at Village Health Works. This transition occurred after receiving an invitation to film a music program exchange at Village Health Works, a community-driven health clinic located in Kigutu, Burundi

Upon returning to work as a Freelance General Assignment Reporter at News 12 Networks for about 7 months, Lena resumed her career with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. In this role, she reported, shot, edited, wrote, and presented news stories daily for multiple newscasts. Transitioning into a new role, she then served as an anchor and reporter at WOWT, amassing two years and seven months of experience in this position.

Tillet joined WRAL-TV as a weekday anchor and reporter in August 2016. Later she became the weekday anchor and reporter until December 2020. Currently, she works as a weekday evening anchor and host. She co-anchors the 9 a.m. newscast on FOX50 and the 4 p.m. newscast on WRAL-TV.
