Alexis Rogers is an American Award-winning Journalist working at KARE 11 News, an affiliate of NBC, serving as an anchor and community relations manager since she joined the station in October 2023. Formerly, Rogers worked at WISH-TV as an evening anchor and All Indiana Co-Host.
Alexis Rogers Career/Education
Rogers studied at Neuqua Valley High School. Afterward, she joined the University of Missouri-Columbia, from August 2010 to May 2014, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. She is currently performing her duties at KARE 11 News, which is an NBC affiliate, serving as an anchor and community relations manager, since she became part of the network in October 2023.
Alexis is a multi-Emmy Award–winning and Edward R. Murrow storyteller. She relocated to the Twin Cities from Indianapolis, where she worked as an evening anchor and co-host of WISH-TV’s All Indiana, a hybrid news and lifestyle program. Rogers started off in broadcasting at Columbia, Missouri’s KOMU as an anchor and reporter.
She has also worked as an anchor and co-creator of the news magazine program Let’s Talk Cincy at WLWT in Cincinnati, as well as KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas. Alexis is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha. In addition, she founded Lisa’s Girls, a community for BIPOC women and girls that focuses on leadership and life skills.
