Janelli Pedroza is an American News Personality working at KHSL and KNVN serving as a Producer, Anchor, and MultiMedia Journalist since she joined the station in March 2021. Formerly, Pedroza worked at Telemundo 52 as an Assignment Desk Intern.
Janelli Pedroza Career/Education
Pedroza studied at California State University from the year 2016 to 2020 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism. She is currently performing her duties as a producer, anchor, and multimedia journalist since securing a position at Action News Now.
Prior to joining Action News Now, Janelli worked as a reporter and producer for her school’s TV newscasts in both Spanish and English. In addition, She was employed by Univision both locally and nationally. From January 2020 to May 2020, she worked as an assignment desk intern for Telemundo 52 (KVEA).

Janelli worked at Univision Communications Inc., as a production assistant, from October 2019 to January 2020. At the station, she worked closely with producers and reporters of Primer Impacto and Despierta América by conducting research, sending emails, and pitching story ideas.
Pedroza also worked at Titan Communications, CSUF, as a part-time OC News Executive Producer, from September 2019 to December 2019. She ensured news PKGs, scripts, and graphics were ready for broadcast as well as managed post-production of the newscast, edited, and published to YouTube.
