Ryan Hill is an American Anchor and Reporter working as an MMJ and Reporter for ABC10 in San Diego since joining the station in August 2021. He joined ABC10 after spending 2 years and 1 month in Sacramento where he worked as a Reporter for KOVR-TV | CBS 13 Sacramento.

Ryan Hill Career | Education

Hill joined The Canterbury School of Florida in 2004 graduating in 2011. He then joined the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science.

Hill started his career as a Freelance Production Assistant for Pac-12 Network where he served for 2 years and 2 months leaving the station in May 2015. His next stop was Phonix, Arizona area where he joined KAET Cronkite News as a Reporter and News Anchor. He joined the station in January 2015 and after 5 months he left in May 2015. Hill then joined KFOX14 in El Paso, Texas as a Multimedia Journalist.

Before joining his current station he worked as a multimedia journalist for CBS 13 in Sacramento. While there he covered one of California’s most devastating wildfire seasons with the LNU Complex Fire and the Glass Fire. Additionally, he covered some of the first US State Department flights to arrive at Travis Air Force Base in 2020 at the start of the Pandemic.

Furthermore, he was part of the CBS13 news team that covered the social and economic changes that swept through Sacramento as the pandemic unfolded. Hill also covered the first George Flyod protest. He now serves as a Reporter and MMJ for ABC10 in San Diego, California. He joined ABC10 in August 2021 and he is stoked to be in San Diego.
