Megan Parry Biography

Megan Parry is an American Meteorologist working as a Morning and Midday Meteorologist for ABC10 in San Diego, California. Parry has been part of the ABC10 Weather team since May 2014. She comes to ABC10 after serving as an Evening Meteorologist for KDRV-TV in Medford, Oregano Area.

Parry attended and graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Educational Studies. Later on, she graduated with a Master of Science in Geo-Sciences and Broadcast Meteorology. While in college she interned as a meteorologist at WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa and WTVA in Tupelo, Mississippi.

After attaining her graduate degree she moved to Medford, Oregon where she joined KDRV as a morning meteorologist. While there she enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter, adopting her second rescue dog, and hosting an annual Pet Fashion Show. Later on, she transitioned to evening newscasts and was even voted as “Most Popular TV Personality of Southern Oregano.”

Parry now serves as a Morning and Midday Meteorologist for ABC10 in San Diego, California. She joined the station in May 2014 and seems to enjoy her stay there. She is happy to work with the ABC10 team and serving the San Diego folk is an honor for her.
