Isabelle Hanson Biography
Isabelle Hanson is an American broadcaster serving at WSYX as a reporter. She joined the Station after working as a weekend evening anchor for KFVS12.
Isabelle Hanson Career | Education
Hanson joined Miami University in 2014 and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Journalism Major, Music Major, & Marketing Minor in 2018. She interned at Home and Family – Hallmark Channel in the Greater Los Angeles Area from January 2017 to January 2017.
She also served as a News Reporting Intern at ABC6/FOX28 – WSYX/WTTE in the Columbus, Ohio Area from May 2017 to August 2017. That same year, she was a Term I & Term II Broadcasting Intern at Seacrest Studios (WKID33) – Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Before becoming an intern, she worked as a College Marketing Representative for In2une Music for almost two years. In 2011, she joined the Stacey De & Company School of Performing Arts as a Private Violin Instructor where she worked until August 2017.
She trained how to play the violin when he was four years old. Hanson played the main violinist with the Southeast Missouri State University Orchestra and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras. While in college, she performed with the Miami Misfitz a cappella group, and has recorded two albums found on iTunes and Spotify with them.
In early 2018, she joined the Oxford Weekly News as an anchor and reporter until May 2018. After working for the Oxford Weekly News, she joined KFVS-TV in September 2018 as an Anchor, Reporter, Multimedia Journalist, and Producer. Hanson has now rejoined the ABC 6 and FOX 28 family. She wished to become part of the team one day while working as an intern.
