Erin Miller is an American journalist serving at WTKR News 3 as a Morning News Anchor. She joined the Station in April 2020, after working as a Reporter and Weekend Morning for WDVM TV.

Miller obtained her high school diploma from Mount Olive High School before pursuing her bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism at Virginia Tech, where she spent four years in the picturesque setting of Blacksburg. Subsequently, she continued her education at Virginia Tech, graduating with a degree in mass communication and media studies in 2016.
Erin worked as a news intern at WDBJ TV from May to August 2015. During her tenure, she engaged in various responsibilities, such as writing, editing, story discovery, interviews, and shadowing professionals. Following this, she held the position of Virginia Tech Television Entertainment Anchor at VT TV from January 2013 to May 2016, anchoring programs like Tech Tonight and Entertainment Tech. Additionally, she served as a CommLab coach at CommLab, Newman Library, during the same timeframe, mentoring students in public speaking skills through individual and group sessions.
After graduating, Miller started her career as a reporter and weekend morning anchor at WDVM TV from July 2016 to July 2018 in Hagerstown, Maryland. During her tenure in the Four State area, she managed to cover the legal immigration process on Capitol Hill. She also moderated West Virginia’s Republican primary debate for the United States Senate. Moreover, she reported on-scene just hours after a gunman opened fire in an Annapolis newsroom and killed five people.
Later, Erin has been serving as a news reporter at WTKR News 3 since July 2018 in Norfolk, Virginia. Additionally, she transitioned to being a morning news anchor in April 2020, where she still continues to work. In her current role, she spearheaded the reintroduction of weekend morning news, airing every weekend from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., providing viewers with the latest news headlines and weather forecasts.
