Chavez enrolled at Stanford University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and the Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (from 2014 to 2018). She later enrolled for a Master’s in Journalism at the same institution, graduating in 2019.
