Mitchell’s love and passion for living in Mobile came after competing at the Distinguished Young Women National program in Mobile as the Distinguished Young Woman of Missouri. This experience left an impression on her that led her to enroll at the University of Mobile in 2018. During her university years, Mitchell pursued a B.A. in communication and minors in French and government. She later graduated in December 2021 with Summa Cum Laude honors. She also holds presidential scholastic awards, which she earned while in college.
