Sheree Paolello Biography
Sheree Paolello is an American Anchor and Reporter working as a 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm News Anchor at WLWT in Cincinnati, Ohio. After joining the station in 2002 she initially worked as a General Assignment Reporter before being promoted to her current role in 2004. Paolello is honored to be part of the WLWT news team and is happy to serve the Cincinnati people.

Paolello attended and graduated from Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. After graduating, Paolello thought to herself that she wanted to cover news in a big city like New York or Chicago. However, after working as a crime reporter in South Bend, Dauton, and Charlotte, and covering everything from murder trials to the terror attacks on 9/11, she realized that she wanted to work in her hometown.
She currently serves as a 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm News Anchor at WLWT in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined WLWT in 2002 as a general assignment reporter and was promoted to anchor in 2004. She feels lucky to do what she loves in the city she grew up in. For her, reporting on stories is easy as she knows her community quite well.
Her focus is mainly on issues affecting Cincinnati’s people from schools, safety, and politics. She is involved in the Cincinnati Shows and the editorial process. While the news certainly changed over the years with the internet and the 24-hour news cycle, Paolello and other journalists still fight for stories, people, and issues they believe in and uncover criminal or corrupt activities that would go unreported.
In 2018, Paolello won her first Emmy for best newscast. A year later, Paolello and her co-anchor Mike Dardis were awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award. Over the years of her professional career, she has hosted political debates and interviewed former presidents and countless celebrities but one of the things she enjoys most is getting out in the community. She loves volunteering and helping local charities raise money.
