Skiba attended the 2020 NHLCA Global Coaches’ Clinic – NHL Coaches Association in 2020. He attended virtual classes taught by NHL coaches to share their knowledge and expertise of player development, Learned strategies, and techniques used in the NHL, Gained access to NHL coaching insights, and acquired over 100 drills and strategies from the program.

Skiba worked for the Jets Insider in June 2018 as a Staff Writer/Reporter/Journalist until January 2019. There, he interviewed Jets players and coaches after games and practices, Wrote and published positional previews, game previews, game recap articles, and feature stories, and attended Jets training camp and practices and wrote observational articles about each day.
In May 2016, he worked as a promotions assistant at iHeartMedia in Franklin, New Jersey until May 2019. Skiba maintained that role for eight months before becoming an executive Director of Sales. He then changed her role in September 2019 to work as a Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations.
In November 2020, he became an Editor and Social Media Manager at Drive4Five. Here, he worked until March of 2021 scheduling weekly posts for all authors, editing weekly articles on the Drive4Five website, and using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to direct and gain traffic for the website. After working for Drive4Five, he joined WBUP ABC 10/WBKP CW 5 as a News Anchor / Reporter /Multimedia Journalist.
