Luli Ortiz is an American Anchor and Reporter working as a General Assignment Reporter and 3 pm news anchor at CBS 12 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has been part of the station since September 2016 and is honored to be back in Florida. Before joining her current station she worked as a Reporter and Anchor at Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Luli attended and graduated from Miami Dade College with an Associate of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies. She then joined the University of Maimi graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Psychology.
Ortiz currently works as a General Assignment Reporter and 3 p.m. anchor at CBS12 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She joined the CBS12 team in September 2016 as a General Assignment Reporter and was later promoted to her role as 3 pm anchor. Ortiz is thrilled to be back in Florida.
Ortiz’s love for broadcast journalism began after working for the university’s award-winning station, UMTV, as a lifestyle anchor and reporter. While in college, Ortiz interned at multiple stations around South Florida, including WTVJ NBC 6 and the Telemundo network.
After graduating, she produced several newscasts at WSVN, a FOX affiliate in Miami. She also served as a freelance, bilingual reporter covering local stories in her community. Adding to her writing experience, she also worked for a prestigious real estate company where she covered stories for a local newspaper about the South Florida market.
Before joining her current station she worked as a Weekend Anchor and full-time Reporter at Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. station located in Steubenville, OH at WTOV-TV for two years. When she is not out in the field gathering news, Luli enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends
