Douglas attended and graduated from Georgia State University Perimeter College with an Associate’s Degree in Journalism and Communication in 2018. She then joined California State University-Sacramento in 2020 with a degree in journalism with an emphasis on broadcast journalism.
While in college she interned at KCRA-3 for 4 months from September 2019 to December 2019. She currently serves as a Multimedia Journalist at WTXL ABC 27 in Florida. She joined the station in September 2023 and has been working here ever since. Before joining her current station she worked as a Reporter at WVII/WFVX BANGOR.
At WVII she started as a reporter and was after promoted to Weekend Anchor and Producer. She has listened to stories from the sole survivor of a triple murder case, covered a gubernatorial election live, and heard from folks who were fighting to find permanent housing all living on an encampment site.
