Hoff is a native of Philadelphia, following her high school graduation, Hoff pursued her studies at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from 2006 to 2010. During her academic journey in 2008, she enriched her knowledge further through the Semester at Sea program, focusing on environmental policy. The sea program is an educational program that allows students to travel throughout the world to study different cultures and issues.
Immediately after her graduation, Alexandria seamlessly transitioned into her career, embarking as a reporter, fill-in anchor, and producer at WHAG-TV News and NBC 25 from September 2010 to November 2011. Subsequently, after her initial role, Hoff advanced to become a reporter at ABC27-WHTM Television for about 3 years. Additionally, she distinguished herself and earned recognition, including a Mid-Atlantic Emmy. Furthermore, she also established Nexstar Media Group’s WDVM Northern Virginia Bureau.
