Janice Dean is an American Weather Forecaster working at FOX News serving as a Senior Meteorologist since she joined the station in January 2004. Formerly, Dean worked at WFAN as a News and Entertainment Anchor.

Dean studied at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and received her Diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting. She later enrolled at Mississippi State University from 2006 to 2009 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Meteorology. Janice is currently performing her duties as a Senior Meteorologist at FOX News Cable since she landed employment at the network in January 2004.
She also contributes to FOX Weather, the free ad-supported streaming television (“FAST”) weather service from FOX News Media, and is the morning meteorologist for FOX & Friends, the network’s flagship morning show, which airs weekdays from 6 to 9 AM/ET. Dean has covered several catastrophic hurricanes for the network throughout her time there, including Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Sandy, Irene, Igor, Earl, and Katrina. She most recently provided coverage of Hurricane Ida in 2021 for FNC.
Janice worked as the news editor and entertainment reporter for Imus in the Morning, a national MSNBC simulcast that broadcasted on WFAN-AM New York, before joining the network. Before working at the radio station, Dean covered traffic for CBS 2 New York on the weekends. She also presented a number of radio shows in Houston, Texas, from 1998 to 2001, including those from Metro Networks, KODA-FM, KKBQ-FM, and KLDE-FM. In 1997, she worked for CBOT Television as an on-camera weather host as well.
Dean started her career as a reporter, DJ, and co-host of the morning show at CHEZ-FM in Ottawa, Canada. She moved on to work for CHUM Limited, also in Ottawa, Canada, where she held a number of roles such as producer and host of The Broad Perspective on CFRA, anchor for KOOL-FM, and morning news anchor for Breakfast at the New RO. 2009 saw her receive the AMS Seal of Approval and become a member of the American Meteorological Society.
