Misha DiBono is an American anchor serving at KUSI as an Anchor and reporter. She joined the Station in June 2012 after working as a Host for Aesthetic TV. DiBono has an extensive background in broadcast media.
Misha DiBono joined FOX 5 San Diego with an extensive background in broadcast media. She began her career at NBC News working for Maria Shriver’s series of specials for Dateline. After being promoted to producer, she was hired by Fox News and moved to New York City. It was in New York that she decided to make the jump in front of the camera, which took her to a CBS affiliate, KSTF, in a tiny town in Nebraska where she cut her teeth as an anchor/reporter.

DiBono attended California State University, Fullerton where she earned a BA, in Journalism. She started her profession at NBC working for Maria Shriver’s series of specials for Dateline. Dibono then got elevated to work as a producer and was then hired by Fox News and moved to New York City. After some time of working there, she joined KUSI Television in San Diego as a Morning New Anchor from August 2001 to February 2006.
DiBono then played the role of an actor in a film named “All About Steve” 20th Century Fox in September 2007. In 2006, she worked for JobingTV as Host, Creator & Producer as a Host, Creator, and Producer for two years and six months. In December 2003, she served as an Executive Producer at The Women’s Conference in Long Beach CA.
She then became an Anchor of the Financial News Show at Credit Union Times San Diego in April 2009 and left in 2011. Dibono then created YourStoryLIVE.com in January 2009 in the Greater Los Angeles Area. In January 2012, she became a host at Aesthetic TV in the Greater Los Angeles Area until January 2013.
She now works as a full-time News Anchor and reporter at FOX 5 San Diego. Dibono wanted to try something new in entertainment programming, so she left and hosted various shows for HGTV. When she’s not working, she loves to cook for small dinner parties, sell her paintings, and go to the beach. Stories that have an impact on someone’s life and make a difference are her favorite.
