Benson Guy is an American journalist, columnist, commentator, and political pundit serving at Fox News as a contributor, he joined the Station in 2013 after working as a political editor for Townhall.com.

Benson attended Ridgewood High School. Later, he furthered his studies at Northwestern University. Concurrently, he worked at the campus radio station, WNUR, where he broadcasted sporting events and hosted a political talk show. He interned for two summers at Fox News, primarily with Hannity and Colmes, and later assisted the channel with its coverage of the 2004 Republican National Convention. Additionally, Benson reported for an NPR station in South Florida and broadcasted summer baseball games for the Chatham A’s of the Cape Cod Baseball League from 2003 to 2006.
Following his graduation with honors from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2007, Guy worked as the producer of The Sandy Rios Show, a local afternoon radio program featuring Christian Right commentator Sandy Rios on WYLL-AM in Chicago.
In 2010, Guy assumed the role of political editor at Townhall.com, where his columns had been featured since February 2008. He also contributes to Townhall’s sister site, Hot Air, and has previously written for Andrew Breitbart’s “Big” sites and National Review Online’s Media Blog. Benson is a regular guest and substitute host on The Hugh Hewitt Show.
In 2013, Benson joined Fox News as a contributor. He currently hosts The Guy Benson Show on Fox News Radio. Additionally, he frequently appears as a guest and substitute host on various Fox News/Fox Business programs such as Fox and Friends, America’s Newsroom, Outnumbered, The Story with Martha MacCallum, Special Report, Gutfeld!, The Big Weekend Show, Media Buzz, Fox News Sunday, The Evening Edit, and The Bottom Line.
