David Asman is an American journalist serving at FOX News Channel as an anchor. He joined the Station in 1997, after working as the Wall Street Journal’s editorial features editor.

Following the completion of his high school diploma, Asman pursued journalism by enrolling in Marlboro College and later Northwestern University. He embarked on his journalism journey in 1978, initially serving as an assistant editor at Prospect Magazine, before swiftly advancing to the position of executive editor within a year. Transitioning into 1980, he received a chance from George Gilder to establish an economic journal for the Manhattan Institute. Additionally, his professional portfolio extends beyond print media, as he engaged audiences as a radio commentator on Perspective on the Economy. Furthermore, his expertise in African organizations in the United States led him to consult for the Ford Foundation. He also served as a host, for Issues in USA, a nightly televised public affairs program.

Transitioning in 2007, he made significant contributions to the launch of FOX Business Network (FBN). He commenced as the host of Bulls & Bears and co-anchored After the Bell at FBN, before transitioning to FNC to anchor Fox News Live.
