Lisa Crane is an American journalist serving at WVTM 13 as a Weekday Evening News Anchor. She joined the station in October 2007, after working as a News Anchor and Reporter for FOX5 WAGA.

Following the completion of her high school diploma, Lisa embarked on her academic journey. Initially, she enrolled at the University of Alabama, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from 1985 to 1988. Following her graduation, she transitioned to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to further her studies. From 1988 to 1990, she earned another bachelor’s degree in communications.
After completing her education, Crane faced a period of job searching before eventually securing a position as a news anchor and reporter. Initially, she worked at KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, MO, from December 1993 to September 2002, serving as a weekday anchor and reporter. Later, she joined FOX5 WAGA in Atlanta, GA, where she held the position of Weekend Anchor and Field Reporter from October 2002 to March 2007.
Following her time at FOX5 WAGA, Lisa transitioned to another notable position. From October 2007 to September 2018, she held the role of Weekday Evening News Anchor at WVTM13 in Birmingham, AL, where she additionally produced and reported local human interest stories. Currently, Lisa occupies the role of Chronicle Executive Producer and Host at WVTM13, which she has held since June 2018. In this capacity, she oversees the production, writing, and hosting of the WVTM13 Chronicle.
