Following her graduation from high school in Little Rock, Arkansas, Carla seamlessly transitioned to the University of Oklahoma. While here, she embarked on her journey towards a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Following her college years, Wade embarked on her career journey. She began as a reporter fill-in anchor at KOCO TV in Oklahoma City from December 2009 to December 2012. Transitioning to WFAA in Dallas, Texas, she assumed the role of Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter from January 2013 to February 2016. Continuing her upward trajectory, Carla then became a news anchor at KTNV Channel 13 Action News from August 2016 to December 2019.
