Ferrari Natalie is an American award-winning journalist and meteorologist serving at WTSP-TV as a meteorologist and journalist, she joined the Station in January 2019 after working as an environmental multimedia reporter and meteorologist for KXAN-TV.

Ferrari graduated with Cum Laude honors in Communications and Media at Clear Lake High School. Later, she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a concentration in Atmospheric Sciences and a minor in Geology at the University of Houston.

In 2007, as an Independent Study Mentorship Student at the National Weather Service, Natalie worked alongside forecasters and obtained precipitation data, mentored by Bill Read, the current Director of the National Hurricane Center. During this time, she honed her skills in analyzing weather maps and issuing severe weather statements, eventually presenting my experiences to NWS meteorologists and forecasters.

Following this, from June 2010 to September 2011, Ferrari served as a research assistant at the University of Houston. She generated daily plots on meteorology and surface radiation budgets and analyzed ceilometer data to determine the planetary boundary layer. Subsequently, she worked as a Weather Department News Intern at KRIV Fox Television, practiced show recordings, and wrote web weather updates.

In October 2011, Natalie began her role as a meteorologist, reporter, and host at KTAB/KRBC under Nexstar Broadcasting Group, forecasting and presenting the weather on weekdays and reporting on weekends. Moving on to KBTX Media in October 2013, she forecasted and presented weather for the early morning and noon shows until November 2015. Following this, from November 2015 to December 2018, she served as an Environmental Multimedia Reporter and Meteorologist at KXAN-TV. She conducted severe weather coverage and wrote weather updates for various platforms.

Since January 2019, Ferrari has been with WTSP-TV, initially launching a new weekend morning show and later being promoted to a weekday evening position. She leads, trains, and mentors her team through daily news operations, including editorial meetings and content approvals, while also conducting crisis weather coverage. She writes and edits creative content, newsworthy stories, and direct-to-consumer editorials for multiple platforms, including websites and social channels, daily. Additionally, she conducts detailed and reliable research to provide crucial information to the general public and records weather updates for multiple local and regional radio stations.
