Spanos went to the University of Florida from 1990 to 1994, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Telecommunications. She is proud to call the campus her Alma mater. Staci is currently performing her duties at News4Jax, where she has served as a reporter and anchor since she secured a position at the network in 1997. Previously, Spanos was an anchor and reporter for a News station in Lubbock, Texas.
She has covered the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Duval County School Board, and the Jacksonville City Council and was present for both the 2000 and 2004 elections. Along with anchoring coverage of the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the arrest of Saddam Hussein, and the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster in 2003, Staci has also covered local issues resulting from the September 11 attacks.
Prior to taking on a new post in June 2013, Staci co-anchored Channel 4’s The Morning Show, a fast-paced mix of news, interviews, and feature stories. In her new capacity, she produced special reports and other contributions to TMS.
