Alicia Booth is an American Emmy Award-winning Journalist working at News4Jax serving as a Reporter and part-time Anchor since she joined the station in January 2013. Formerly, Booth worked at WEWS-TV as an Anchor and Medical Reporter.

Booth studied at the University of Southern California, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a concentration in International Relations, Defense, and Strategic Studies. She is currently performing her duties at News4Jax, serving as a reporter and part-time anchor since she joined the station in January 2013. What Alicia enjoys most about television news is storytelling, which is why she is excited to be a part of the News4Jax team.

Alicia started her career as a military reporter in Monterey, California. Her specialty was the police beat in Charlotte, North Carolina. She worked as a medical reporter in Cleveland, Ohio. Her experience includes covering the first Gulf War and accompanying support forces from Fort Ord’s 7th Infantry Division on trips to Saudi Arabia and other locations.
Booth was merely 50 yards away when the bombing of Centennial Olympic Park occurred. Consequently, she found herself among the first reporters in the nation to break the news of the explosion on the air while anchoring her station’s coverage of the Olympics in Atlanta She is arguably most proud of her Emmy-winning tales, which inspired a community to come together in support of a Kent, Ohio, family going through a difficult medical journey. During a trying period, the reports improved their lives.
