Weiss graduated with a diploma from Naperville North High School in 2005. Subsequently, she immediately joined Drake University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications, broadcast journalism, and political science.
Beginning her career in 2006, Brittany served as managing editor, news editor, and writer at The Times Delphic, overseeing assignments and covering various news events. In 2010, Brittany worked as an administrative assistant and loan processor at Wells Fargo Financial before transitioning to AOL as a video editor. She was in charge of filming interviews and events, attending daily meetings to discuss the outline for the day, and editing footage. Following this, she served as an anchor and reporter at WXVT from November 2011 to August 2012 before joining WBRZ-TV in August 2012, where she continues to work as an anchor and reporter, accumulating over 11 years of experience.
