Marc Davis is an American journalist serving at WTKR TV as a Sports Director. He joined the Station in September 2021 after working as a Sports Director for Gray Television.

After completing his high school diploma, Davis joined Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2001. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism in 2004.
Marc began his career in Harrisburg, PA, where he served as a news photojournalist at WHP CBS21. He later transitioned to the sports department at WCAV CBS19 and WVAW ABC16 in Charlottesville, where he provided extensive coverage of all facets of UVA sports. Subsequently, he transitioned to the role of Sports Director at WWBT and NBC12 Raycom Media, where he has served since June 2011. Situated in the Richmond, Virginia Area, Marc anchored sports segments during the 6:00, 10:00, and 11:00 newscasts for the area’s premier news station. Moreover, he undertook the responsibility of crafting multiple feature packages and overseeing sports department operations, including planning and scheduling. Additionally, he reported live events and broke news situations, while he also traveled to cover major events involving local teams. Notably, Marc’s journey at NBC12 commenced as a weekend sports anchor and reporter before earning a promotion.
Davis seamlessly integrated into the News 3 team as Sports Director in September 2021, leveraging his impressive 17 years of television experience. Since then, he has remained with the team, demonstrating his expertise and dedication to the field.
