Boyle graduated with his high school diploma from St. Petersburg High School which led him to join the University of Florida. In 2007, he attained his bachelor’s degree of science in journalism. Shortly after graduating, Mark got his first job as a general assignment news reporter at ABC 7 WWSB where he worked for about one year.
In August 2008, Mark continued his career as a General Assignment News Reporter at Cox Media Group, in Orlando, Florida. For about three years, he polished his skills in reporting on various topics and events, contributing to the media landscape in the vibrant city of Orlando. Due to his great work as a News Reporter, he was offered a position at KPRC in August 2011. He continued to excel in his role, bringing insightful and engaging news coverage to the audience of KPRC. His dedication and expertise contributed to the station’s reputation for delivering quality journalism to its viewers.
Later, Boyle transitioned into an investigative reporter and anchor at TEGNA in January 2016, serving until March 2019. He moved to WRAL-TV where he currently works. Mark plays his role as a live center anchor. In this capacity, he anchors breaking news coverage for all platforms during the evening and late news broadcasts. With five years of experience at WRAL, he continues to provide the audience with timely and accurate reporting, showcasing his dedication to delivering news that informs and engages viewers.
