Forsey attended Jay M Robinson High School from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina from 2015 to 2019, focusing on Broadcast and Electronic Journalism as well as Political Science. During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill, she attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism from the UNC School of Media and Journalism.

During her internships at Spectrum News and ABC11 Eyewitness News – WTVD, Madison gained hands-on experience in news production. She learned a lot at Spectrum News, under reporter Ryan Breslin’s guidance. She also developed various skills, transitioning to ABC11, Madison collaborated with various team members, contributing to content creation. Throughout both internships, Madison actively participated in group projects and fulfilled newsroom tasks assigned by producers.

As Chapter President of the NC Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi from January 2018 to 2019, Forsey spearheaded academic and personal development initiatives for over 180 women. Prior to this role, she served as Recruitment Chair, preparing the chapter for formal Panhellenic Recruitment. Transitioning to her position as an Admissions Ambassador at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from September 2016 to May 2019, Madison conducted tours and participated in panels, offering crucial insights into campus life and academic offerings for prospective students. Additionally, she anchored the broadcast, serving as the face of Carolina Week from August 2018 to May 2019, and held pivotal roles as Anchor, Reporter, and Producer for Carolina Now from January 2017 to May 2019.

Later, Madison transitioned to WNCT as the Weekend Anchor and multimedia journalist for approximately two years. There, she directed producers and reporters in crafting informative, edited daily stories across diverse subjects. Currently, she holds the position of Weekend Anchor and Multimedia Journalist at WGHP, where she has been employed full-time since August 2021.
