Mike Trim is an American reporter serving at WPTV as a news anchor. He joined the Station in August 2010 after working as a reporter for WBRE-TV.

Trim enrolled at Temple University in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a broadcast journalism degree. After completing his High School education, he enrolled in the United States Navy. Here, he worked for four years as an Information Systems Technician.
He then joined WBNG-TV (CBS) as a reporter in Binghamton, NY from 2005 to 2007. Trim reported the 2006 flood that later earned the station an award for Best Continuing News Coverage. In 2007, he joined WBRE-TV (NBC) in Wilkes-Barre, PA where he worked from 2007 to 2010 as a news reporter and fill-in anchor.
Currently, Trim works for WPTV (NBC) in West Palm Beach, FL as a news anchor. He is always proud to call South Florida his home and get the viewers informed. When he’s not working, he likes to watch football matches, cheering for teams like the Rams and Blues, the Temple Owls, and The St. Louis Cardinals.
