Neda Iranpour is an American weathercaster serving at CBS8 as a Morning News Anchor. She joined the Station in September 2018 after working as a Morning Weathercaster, Anchor, and Reporter for KPIX CBS5.

Iranpour joined Universidad LCI Veritas in the year 2000 and studied Spanish Language and Literature. In 1998, she joined The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance, General in 2002.

Iranpour continued to further her education and joined Mississippi State University and studied Broadcast Meteorology. While still in college, she was hired at CNN’s International Desk in Atlanta, GA as an intern.
She began her career at KSWT News 13 in May 2002 and worked as an Anchor, Reporter, Weathercaster, and Sportscaster. Here, was where she started her on-air career wearing many hats at this news station. Iranpour left and joined KTVN News and worked as a Morning Anchor, Reporter, and Weathercaster for almost five years.
When she initially joined KTVN, she served as a reporter and anchor for four years before working at CBS Sacramento. She then came back to Reno where she worked at Good Day Sacramento and KTVN Ch 2 News in Reno simultaneously for many months in 2013.
In March 2009, she started working for KOVR-TV | CBS Sacramento as a Reporter, Anchor, and Weathercaster. There, she was the weekend weathercaster and nightside reporter for CBS 13. She also filled in as an anchor, anytime she was needed. Iranpour then worked for CW6 – Bay City Television in the Greater San Diego Area as an Evening Anchor, Reporter, and Weathercaster from February 2014 to April 2017.
After working for CW6, she worked for ABC 10News as a Freelance Live Center Anchor, Weathercaster, and Traffic Anchor for almost seven years. Iranpour then left ABC10 and worked for KPIX CBS5 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a Morning Weathercaster, Anchor, and Reporter.
Currently, she works for CBS 8 San Diego in San Diego County, California, United States as a full-time Morning News Anchor. Iranpour anchors from 4:30a-9a and CBS 8 Live @ 11 am and CBS 8 Live @ Noon alongside Eric Kahnert. She has a passion for serving others and has completed several triathlons, cycling, marathons, and paddle boarding (SUP) races. During an international fitness competition, she received pro-fitness status.
