Alan Marsden is an American News Personality working at KNVN-TV and KHSL-TV, serving as an Evening News Anchor since he joined the station in November 2005. Formerly, Marsden worked at KNVN TV and KHSL TV as an Acting News Director.

Marsden studied at the University of Utah from the year 1989 to 1993 and received his Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. He is currently performing his duties as an evening anchor at Action News Now since securing a position at the network.

Alan breaks the news at five, six, and eleven p.m. He was employed at the station from 2001 to 2003, prior to rejoining the team in 2005. He has over 35 years of experience in television broadcasting, the first 12 of which he spent behind the scenes at Action News Now.

Marsden has nearly all of the experience in the industry, having worked for television stations in four western states as a master control operator, studio camera operator, anchor, assignment desk editor, reporter, and producer.
