Heather Myers is an American journalist serving at CBS8 as a Noon and 4 pm Anchor, she joined the Station in December 2015 after working as an anchor for KFMB-TV.

Myers graduated from Poway High School and later joined San Diego State University where she received a degree in journalism. She began her career at NBC in San Diego, California as a writer where she worked for two years and one month.
She left to work as a reporter and anchor at KYMA TV in the Yuma, Arizona Area where she worked for almost two years. After working for KYMA TV, she joined KFMB Stations in October 2003 as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor and then left in October 2007.
At KFMB, she covered some of San Diego and Southern California’s largest stories, including the 2003 and 2007 wildfires. In November 2007, she began working at Bay City Television as a News Anchor and Host until November 2015. She rejoined KFMB-TV in December 2015 to work as an anchor. Currently, she works for the same station as a Noon and 4 pm Anchor.
Myers brings her best experience and knowledge to San Diego every weekday morning. A few years ago, she volunteered with the San Diego-based Salvation Army. San Diego Humane Society has held several fundraising events and she has always played the role of an Emcee.
Furthermore, she’s an associate of a North County community-based non-profit named UNITE. She has earned eight Emmy Awards and two Associated Press Awards. Moreover, she shares her passion and dedication with several community organizations.
